Appealing to my target audience

 My audience consists of 16-25 year old television thriller drama fans. It can be harder to define things on ITVX as there are shows aimed at a broad range of audiences, though I decided to make my thriller a crime/action as young adults and teenagers are typically more interested in violence and with uses and gratifications they can find entertainment. By making my main story focused around common issues young people face they may also find a sense of personal identity with the show, especially as the characters, including the ones on the poster, are within that age range, it could also educate any viewers unfamiliar with these topics. The location being a small town by the sea could also give my audience escapism if they live in a completely different area, or more personal identity if they live in a similar place.
